So as to not undermine the message, I need to discuss how I am going to proceed in identifying the Most High, and The Savior on this website.
Although I believe in using the actual Name of the Most High (YHWH), you will notice that often I use the term The Most High or The One instead of actually using His Sacred Name. There are several reasons for this:
I believe the messages herein are much bigger than those points of contention, so often you will find I bypass this issue, and use the terms “The Most High” and “The One”:
That brings me to the other term that I use in these messages, which is The One. I believe this is another term that can only denote The Most High, so is appropriate to use. This term infers that there is only One that can claim this level of Majesty, and that there is no other that can be compared to.
These terms are not only accurate, but help unite all who are seeking in the understanding that The Most High or The One, is not just a Hebrew entity, but one that all people can understand as a source they recognize as supreme above all others.
There are other possible terms to use as well:
YHSHA, The Savior, told His disciples to begin prayrs with “Father in Heaven” (aka the Lord’s prayer). In the New Testament, The Savior frequently refers to YHWH as “Father”. For example, in the Bible, The Savior addresses YHWH as “Father” when he speaks about YHWH and when he prays. In the Garden of Gethsemane, The Savior cries out, “Abba, Father”. “Abba” was a term of endearment that Aramaic speakers used when addressing their earthly fathers.
Other uses of Father to refer to YHWH in the Bible:
But this could raise questions to some people, for it’s use of gender and for the following:
I believe the Bible is extremely clear that YHWH wants us to refer to Him by His Name. But since there have been so many things that have tried to keep the real name hidden, there cannot be 100% certainty on how to spell it and pronounce it. So I believe the Most High will recognize a genuine and concerted effort to honor Him with using His Name in the form that we feel is the most correct (with some exceptions). So whether it be Yahweh, or Yahuwah, or the ones we have determined through scholarship to be the most likely (Yahuwah or Yihuwah), you can decide in your spirit how YHWH is leading you, and you can honor Him by using that way.
You noticed that I stated there are some exceptions to this. YHWH will not feel honored if you use a name that belongs to another mighty one. We go into this here, but do not ever use these words to refer to YHWH:
After all, The Savior, YHSHA Ha Moshia (aka Jesus The Savior), is YHWH in the flesh, so the Bible says. I believe that in using The Savior’s Name, you would be honoring both the Father and The Son, YHWH and YHSHA and the entire Ilohim/Iloah, because the name YHSHA means “The Salvation of YHWH”. And this would also acknowledge the completeness of the Promise, the Law, and the new covenant of YHWH, that is fulfilled by Yahusha.
And it is not ironic that the same issues arise in knowing YHSHA’s real spelling and pronunciation as is the case with YHWH. The enemy thinks that if you cannot say or spell the Name of the Most High, then you cannot honor Him, pray to Him or fully know His power in your life. That is why we are committed to empowering you with the greatest truth that we can, so you can exercise The Most High’s power and authority in your life.
Since there is no copy of the New Testament in ancient Hebrew, once again there is no way to be 100% certain of the spelling. So you should seek understanding and use the one that you feel the strongest in.
