What Does Giving mean to YHWH?
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? YHWH/Yihusha is the example of what to do
The Savior YHSHA Ha Moshia (aka Jesus Christ) is the example of what to do. He healed, he provided physically and spiritually. He gave his life for all. We are called to do what He did when He was on this earth.
There is no greater love than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13
Ways To Serve YHWH
Help us achieve our calling / our mission! Great work takes many hands! Click the links to read about the many ways to serve YHWH with your time, talent and treasure, as all are given by YHWH!
Offerings are made to give of what you have in recognition of YHWH's providence that is bestowed upon us through His grace; A way to give back to Him in gratitude for the blessings He has provided, and to acknowledge that all good things come from Him.
It is also how the church does the work that they do:
Aid - Serving the needs of humanity however they are presented that are left unmet by other sources. This is one of the most important ways to serve: to help provide the needs of the less fortunate as Yihusha did. This includes immediate critical needs (food, clothing, shelter / a home, shelter from abuse) as well as mental/spiritual aid, education, grants, and more.
Church planting, discipleship and ministry training
Outreach - trying to reach people to share the love and promise of Yihusha
Missions - for outreach ministry or humanitarian work
Offerings are distinguished by their sentiment/acknowledgement of an area of commitment and its purpose. Some are expected: as you get, so you give. Others are as your spirit is led. When giving you are to give the best of the portion you have, not the leftovers.
Tithes - this historically is an expectation that YHWH has of you. "Tithe" means tenth, meaning we are supposed to give 1/10 of what we have back to YHWH, and by being faithful He promises increase. But it should be given with a willing heart, not begrudgingly.
Offerings (First Fruits, Freewill) - Historically, offerings are the best portion of what you have to offer (not the left overs) and are given as reverence to Him on designated Holy Days or when you receive .
Love Gifts (Alms giving, Thanksgiving, Sacrificial giving) - this giving is out of an abundance of love that the Spirit moves you to dedicate yourself at a higher level. It is is over and above obligatory offerings often as you grow in the Holy Spirit.
Prayer is one of the most important things we can do to support each other. And it has a benefit for both the one who is praying, and the one is being prayed for; as there are blessings bestowed upon those who pray for others' well being, as it is a form of selfless sacrifice.
Prayer can be done at any time on your own time, or you can be available to pray with someone if requested.
Prayer is powerful, and Yihusha says in the Bible that
" where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them".
(Matt 18:20)
Spread The Word
Our mission to reach the entire world with the truths of the Most High is a daunting one. We are bringing messages that the whole world needs to hear, that no one else is bringing forth, though there is an abundance of information and ability. But we are a beacon of light shining the way in the darkness. So we need as many brethren to help as possible because it is our duty once we know the truth to share it with others.
But we also know we must be good stewards and take care in how we deliver the messages of the One. We must be able to withstand the throws of the enemy, the hatred of those who wish to hide the truth, and to deliver our message for each person how they will best receive it. We must have the whole armor of YHWH on to be able to stand firm in the foundation that is Yihusha.

You may not be a minister, but everyone in a congregation has gifts that they can use to uplift, comfort and encourage their fellow human. We have all been through ups and downs, and know what would help us through those times. Sometimes just a presence or willing listener is a great comfort. And you will also gt much blessing from it as well.
