It’s more than okay to question and have doubts. The Bible states to know the truth, you must test of what spirit something comes, to determine whether it be of truth or lie. This is where understanding starts.
A church is not a building.
It is those who embrace the Savior's compassionate, sacrificial spirit; they are the church body, the temple, because He lives in them and is expressed through them.
The Savior did not have a house of worship.
He taught wherever the Word was needed, wherever there was someone yearning for peace, love, deliverance. Every meadow was his meeting place.
Like The Savior, we must meet those who are seeking and willing to hear, where they are at.

The world church is alienating beautiful, loving people in the name of their version of religious dogma based on an interpretation of the Bible that they think they understand. They do not welcome anyone who strays from their particular beliefs. We at Holy Refuge, stand against religious dogma that closes off the true expression of and purpose of The Savior’s coming, which was and is to show that love and sacrifice for each other is where true power is and triumphs over evil. We stand for being the embodiment of and spreading the understanding of love, which is the nature of the Holy Spirit. We provide a place to grow in the understanding of the truth and spirit of The Most High.
