What “The Church” is Not Telling You About Salvation

What “The Church” is Not Telling You About Salvation

The “church” preaches the following as the foundation of the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ: “Ask Jesus for forgiveness and to come into your heart, and you will be saved”, meaning saved from eternal damnation due to sin. Most churches also preach that “Once saved, always saved” purporting that once you have received His Spirit in you, that you are reborn a new creation in Him, as if your old sinful ways have been cast off or cured.

This claim, “once saved, always saved” along with the belief that they do not have to do “works”,  is one that is going to cost more eternal lives than possibly anything else.

It has caused a complacency in those who would otherwise be saved to think they do not have to do anything every again to stay saved.

It is undoubtedly one of the causes of the Great Falling Away that will occur in the End Times and in my opinion we are in the throes of it happening right now, if not already complete.

Millions are sitting back on their laurels, thinking they are safe, but also do nothing to separate themselves from the world of corruption.

These people since they do not think they have to do anything else, they also do not read the Bible leaving their fate in preacher’s hands, not knowing this belief is refuted unequivocally in scripture. This scripture spells it out plain as day: (and I have spent my entire life in church, and I have never heard one preacher mention it once):

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.  Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of YHWH underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?”  (Heb 10:26-30)

This plainly says that we are not forgiven of our sin if we willfully continue in our sin after saved; and that we must continue to repent of our sin, and be delivered of that sin to be indwelled by the Holy Spirit.  We are the temple of YHWH, the body of Yahusha (Christ). And the Holy Spirit cannot dwell in a place of sin! And Yahusha did not die for us so that we can continue to live sinful lives! This makes a mockery of His sacrifice!

With this one example, most of those who call themselves Christians right now in America are not saved.

Yahusha said this was going to happen.  In Matthew 24, the following is discussed when referring to the Great Falling Away,( so He is showing they are related):

When looking at the temple in Jerusalem, what did Yahusha say?

“Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” (Matt 24:2)

(Hint: He is not talking about a physical temple, as you can infer as you continue to read. )

Then the disciples asked,

when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matt 24:3)

The very first thing that Yahusha says is:

“Take heed that no man deceives you. For many will come in my name… and will deceive many.” (Matt 24:4)

YHSHA was speaking to His disciples, His believers, meaning believers have the ability to be deceived.

(What does this have to do with the temple? Hint: What is a temple? It is a church. The Church. And who is the spiritual temple? The body of Yahusha, His believers, His Church. He is referring to the Great Falling away, the crumbling of the Church. He is also saying that a key to the Great Falling Away of His believers is them being led astray by false teachers.

Then He says again,”

– Many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and
– M
any false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
– Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”(Matt 10-14)

This means those who do not stand firm, resolute, fully equipped in their faith, will not be saved.

Then to be absolutely clear, He says again:

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.(Matt 24:24)

That’s three times Yahusha refers to His believers being deceived and as a result not remaining saved. Clearly it does not matter the means by which one falls away: there is the same consequence. No one is going to be able to plead ignorance, not in this age of information.

There is more.

Hebrews 6:4-6 says once you have received salvation, if you lose belief, you can never know salvation again.

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of YHWH and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of YHWH all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.” (Hebrews 6:4-6)

And in 2 Peter 2:20-22, The Bible says that it would be better for someone to have never been saved than to have fallen away from faith.

“For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Yahusha Ha Moshia, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”  (2 Peter 2:20-22)

But with this, it means that it is possible to lose salvation.

And if you are still not convinced, Peter gives many examples to prove his point:

YHWH did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment (2 Peter 2:4)

Angels were righteous since their creation, extremely intelligent, gifted beings – and they were not exempt from being able to fall away, and they lost their place in Heaven. They are an example to all of what is at stake – eternal life in Heaven.

Even Adam and Eve, who were so blessed to have a perfect place where all of their needs were met, and could dwell with The Most High, were cast out of the garden forever to a wilderness, because they chose to follow the original false teacher.

So it is extremely arrogant for people to think they mean more to YHWH than His Heavenly Messengers, or His First Creation.

Example after example are given so there can be no question, no excuse. All it can be equated to is denying The Bible, and denying Yahusha’s sacrifice.

What about what the Bible says in John 10:27-29 or other scriptures that are used as examples of “Once saved, always saved” doctrine?

In John 10:27-29, it says:

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

Notice that Yahusha calls us His “sheep. Sheep are often referred in the Bible as able to go astray. But how do you keep from going astray? You cling to the shepherd. You stay with Him, by Him, and do not wander off. This means we are able to wander off. After all, we all have free will, and many are not vigilant to stay close to YHWH, especially because of false doctrines like “once saved, always save”.  This scripture, means that if you (the sheep), cling to and allow Yahusha (the shepherd) to lead you,  then nothing can snatch you away.

This does not mean it is impossible to wander off, and be ensnared once again, as this scripture says:

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Yahusha has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

This scripture says “AGAIN” meaning it is possible to be in the bondage of sin again, after receiving the freedom of Yahusha’s salvation!

So what does this mean for Christian believers salvation?

  1. Anyone who is reading this article means that you are seeking to make sure that you are in full understanding of the Most High, testing the spirits, weighing them, so as to not be misled so as to ensure you are spiritually where you should be with The Most High; and that is what we are supposed to do. And after doing so, if anyone that feels they have become complacent in their walk with the Most High, they can still have time to get right again with YHWH.
  2. But if a Christian is backslidden into a worldly mindset at the time of the Rapture, then chances are they will not go in the Rapture, and they will be left to wake up from their situation and get right with YHWH. This also means that even if they do get back in the Spirit of YHWH, they will have to persevere and go through the Great Tribulation. But this is a blessing because it is a second chance to get right before the real Judgement Day occurs, even though it will be a harder path. But this is a much better outcome than not getting the chance to repent at all.

This is why we bring this information to you – to ensure you are not misled by erroneous “doctrine”, so that you will be ready for the blessings that come for those who are devout and ready in the Holy Spirit at The Savior’s return.
