The Savior’s Name is Yahusha – Here is Why

We have done the work and found The Savior’s Name is Yahusha. We will show you why.

The Savior’s Name – What it is and What it is Not

Just like the rest of the information we share in this ministry, and on this website, the information that makes it possible to know the true name and pronunciation of the Savior’s Name is out there already.

But in order to find it, you must want to know it with all of your heart, spirit, mind and strength, and then search for it with as much. Because in seeking Him in this way, the way The Bible says you would seek Him if you love Him with all of your heart, spirit, mind and strength, then the things that are important to Him would be brought to your awareness.

And although there is a lot of confusion, He can help you sift through to find the truth that he wants you to know.

And of course His Name is important. Knowing someone’s name, especially the One you claim to believe in and follow and accept into one’s heart, is the first step in having a relationship with them. It is how we commune with Him. He wants you to know His Name, so you can have the closeness.

So let’s look at what we have found about the most commonly used names for The Savior, so that you can feel confident in proclaiming His Name as well!

It is not “Jesus”

Just as The Name of the Most High, YHWH,  was given in Paleo or ancient Hebrew, so would the name of the Savior.

The word “Jesus” is Greek, not Hebrew.

Many think it is okay to use the greek version because the oldest version we have of the New Testament which documents The Savior’s ministry is in greek. But

  • The Savior was not Greek. So His Name would have been given in Hebrew.
  • The apostles were Hebrew, not Greek. And although they were sent to witness to the Gentiles (those who were not Hebrew), they heard The Savior’s ministry originally in Hebrew, as it was conducted in their homeland.
  • The New Testament scriptures, which document The Savior’s life and ministry, contain Paleo-Hebrew idiomatic constructs that came from the Hebrew culture and language, so would only have been understood from a Hebrew perspective.

Just because we do not have a surviving copy of the Hebrew New Testament, does not mean it never existed. And it certainly does not mean that we can just pronounce The Savior’s Name any old way. After all, the Savior’s Name contains YHWH’s Name. YHWH is Paleo-Hebrew. Therefore, the Savior’s Name is Paleo-Hebrew and should be pronounced how it would have been in Paleo-Hebrew.

“And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Also, according to even the greek spelling, if it were pronounced in Greek, it would have been pronounced “Yesoos” at the time of the first century AD, not “Jesus”, because there was no “J” sound at that time.

It is not “YHW-Sh-WA” (Yahushua or any other vowel variation)

Some will say it is pronounced “Yashua” or “Yahushua”, but both are Aramaic pronunciations and are not correct according to an accurate Paleo-Hebrew transliteration.

Aramaic was not the language or the alphabet of the ancient Hebrew people, from which The Savior’s Name comes from. Aramaic is the language brought back from Babylonian captivity, as was the square script alphabet, both of which were not Hebrew. And YHWH told the Israelites not to take on the beliefs of other peoples.

The Savior’s Name is Yahusha (YHW-Sh-A with vowels)

In Paleo- Hebrew and the New Testament, The Savior’s Name is spelled (read from right to left) –

Yahusha-YHSHA-pronunciation

The Bible attests to this 216 times, since 216 times the name “YHW-Sh-A” is spelled this way, whereas “YH-Sh-WA”(Yashua) only appears 28 times, and “YHW-Sh-WA” (Yahushua) only 2 times.

Yahusha-pronunciation-comparison

As you can see, there is no “shua” in the spelling of The Savior’s Name. So the pronunciation would not be “Yahushua”, “Yahshua” OR “Yashua”.

But we do acknowledge that Aramaic, although not directly Paleo-Hebrew, it is still a Semitic language, so these pronunciations that have the vowels “a” and “u” (“Yahu”) in them are very close to what would have been spoken in Paleo-Hebrew, so they would still most likely carry the power necessary to exercise His (YHWH’s) authority since it has YHWH’s (Yahweh’s) Name in it.

Power is In The Name

The full power that resides in His Name YHW-Sh-A (“Yahusha) cannot be exercised if not using the correct pronunciations. We do not believe that any other pronunciation except the correct one can wield the full power necessary to exercise His authority. This includes commanding evil spirits, doing deliverance, etc.

The Bible states this clearly:

“And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

This is why the enemy has tried to cover up both YHWH’s Name and YHW-Sh-A’s name. So you can be certain that any name that is not being hidden is not the correct name and does not carry the power, the threat to the enemy that the real Names do.

Salvation is at Stake

The enemy also knows that salvation is  at stake if you do not know or pronounce the Name of YHW-Sh-A (Yahusha).

And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name YHW-Sh-A for He shall save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21)

Can there be salvation without the correct pronunciation of the Name of YHWH(Yahweh) or YHW-Sh-A (Yahusha)? How could their be if you claim to know and love Him but do not call Him by His Name, as the scripture, as He, says to do? If you do not, then you do not do as commanded by Him.

So we must acknowledge, obey and honor Yahweh and Yahusha by using (or at least trying to use) His actual pronunciation. And the closest we can come to the correct pronunciation, the better.

We want everyone to have this information. But due to the impactful nature of our teachings, we need to be good stewards of it, and share it with great consideration.
